Terms of Service
Last updated 17 July 2026
These terms apply when you buy or use a SimKit travel eSIM. By completing a purchase you agree to them.
About us
SimKit is operated by Dark Synaptic Pty Ltd (ACN 694 338 531), an Australian company based in Sydney, New South Wales. References to “SimKit”, “we” and “us” in these terms are to Dark Synaptic Pty Ltd. You can reach us any time at support@simkit.app.
What SimKit provides
SimKit sells prepaid travel eSIMs that give you mobile data in supported destinations. After payment we deliver your eSIM instantly; you install it on a compatible, carrier-unlocked device with a tap (or by scanning the QR code), and it activates when it connects to a supported network.
Eligibility & devices
- Your device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked.
- It’s your responsibility to check compatibility before buying. See our eSIM guide.
Plans, data & validity
- Each plan’s data allowance and validity period are shown at checkout.
- Validity typically starts when the eSIM first connects to a network in the destination.
- Unused data expires at the end of the validity period and isn’t refundable.
- Where supported, you can top up an eSIM with more data before it expires.
- Unlimited plans include a daily allowance at full speed, shown on the plan page; beyond it, data continues at a reduced speed until the day resets. There are no overage charges.
- Multi-country (regional) plans work across every destination listed on the plan’s coverage list at the time of purchase.
- Promo codes have no cash value, may carry their own conditions, and can’t be exchanged or combined unless stated.
Pricing & payment
Prices are shown in your selected currency and you’re charged the exact amount displayed at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our connection guarantee below operates in addition to those rights, not instead of them.
Refunds & connection guarantee
If you can’t get connected, contact support@simkit.app and we’ll work with you to fix it. If we can’t get you online, we’ll replace the eSIM or refund the plan. That’s the guarantee shown across the store, and it’s the promise we hold ourselves to.
Outside that guarantee, eSIMs are delivered digitally and tied to network provisioning, so an eSIM that has been installed or activated isn’t otherwise refundable, and unused data isn’t refundable after its validity ends. This does not limit any remedy you’re entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.
Acceptable use
Don’t use SimKit eSIMs for unlawful activity, or in ways that abuse the network (for example reselling, or sustained use that breaches a plan’s fair-use limits).
Liability
We work hard to keep the service reliable but can’t guarantee uninterrupted coverage, which depends on local networks and your device. To the extent permitted by law (and subject to the Australian Consumer Law section above), our liability for any plan is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t deprive you of any protection of the law of the place where you live.
