Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 24 November 2025

SimKit (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use the SimKit mobile application (the “App”).

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with eSIM connectivity, we collect data in two ways: information you provide to us, and information collected automatically.

A. Information You Provide

When you register for an account, purchase an eSIM, or contact support, we may collect:

  • Identity Data: Name, email address, and account login credentials.

  • Transaction Data: Details about payments to and from you and other details of products you have purchased from us. Note: We do not store full credit card numbers; payments are processed by secure third-party payment processors.

  • Customer Support Data: Information you provide when contacting us for help, including screenshots or descriptions of technical issues.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we may automatically collect:

  • Device Information: To ensure eSIM compatibility, we collect data about your device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (such as the EID – Embedded Identity Document) required to provision the eSIM.

  • Usage Data: Information about how you access and use the App, including crash logs and interaction data, to help us improve the user experience.

  • Network Data: While we do not track your precise GPS location via the App, the cellular network providers we partner with require location information to provide connectivity in the destination country.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect for specific business purposes:

  • Service Provisioning: To generate and activate your eSIM profile on your specific device.

  • Order Fulfillment: To process your payments and deliver your QR codes or installation details.

  • Support: To respond to your inquiries and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

  • Communication: To send you administrative information, such as order confirmations, technical updates, or security alerts.

  • Marketing (Optional): With your consent, we may send you emails about new destinations or special offers. You can opt-out at any time.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. However, to provide our service, we must share specific data with trusted third parties.

A. Connectivity Partners

We work with global network aggregators and telecommunication providers to generate the eSIMs. We share only the necessary technical data (such as your device’s EID or the order technical specifications) with these partners to enable the cellular service on your phone.

B. Service Providers

We may share your data with third-party vendors who perform services for us, such as:

  • Payment Processing: (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay).

  • Email Delivery: To send your order confirmations.

  • Cloud Hosting: To securely store our user database.

C. Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

5. Security of Your Data

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. This includes using SSL encryption for data transmission. However, please be aware that no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

6. International Data Transfers

SimKit operates globally. Your information may be transferred to—and maintained on—computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those from your jurisdiction. By using the App, you consent to this transfer for the purpose of fulfilling the eSIM service.

7. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Right to Access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.

  • Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.

  • Right to Erasure (Delete Account): You have the right to request that we erase your personal data and delete your account, under certain conditions. You can initiate this directly within the App settings or by contacting us.

  • Right to Withdraw Consent: If we are processing your data based on your consent (e.g., marketing), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email provided below.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
