Why we exist

International roaming is still priced like it’s 2008. A short trip to Japan on a Western carrier can cost more than the flight. Carrier shops at airports charge you for queueing. We thought the whole thing could be quieter, cheaper, and over with before you reach baggage claim.

So we built SimKit. You pick a destination, buy in 60 seconds, install the eSIM on Wi-Fi before you fly, and the data starts the first time it connects abroad. Your home number stays put. Your phone bill stays sane.

What we do

We sell prepaid travel eSIM data plans for 130+ countries. Single-country, regional, and global. From 1 GB for a weekend to unlimited for a month. No contracts, no renewals, no surprise charges — once your plan ends, that’s it.

Behind the scenes, our network partners run on the same towers your home carrier uses overseas. The difference is the price, the speed of getting set up, and the fact that nobody on our end is trying to upsell you a year-long plan you don’t need.

What we promise

  • Honest prices. What you see at checkout is the lot. No activation fees, no “service charges,” no auto-renewals.
  • Real support. Humans, not chatbot loops. Median first reply is under 10 minutes.
  • Refund if it doesn’t work. If we can’t get your eSIM running, you don’t pay for it.
  • No data on you. We don’t sell your information. We don’t track your browsing. We sell you data; we don’t mine yours.

Behind SimKit

SimKit is built and run from Australia. It started, as these things often do, with a holiday and a roaming bill that ruined the post-trip glow. A small team builds and supports it — the same people who answer the support inbox also write the code.
