Using data across Europe
The single biggest reason to buy a Europe eSIM rather than country-specific ones: you never have to think about borders. Step off the Eurostar in Paris, take a train to Brussels in the afternoon, fly to Berlin that night — the same eSIM is still active, on the local network in each country, with no top-ups or new QR codes.
5G is widespread in capital cities. Outside the metros, 4G is the default and it’s genuinely fast. Even rural Spain or the Norwegian fjords will get you a signal good enough for maps and music.
Nothing is geo-blocked. Banking, 2FA codes, iMessage, WhatsApp, streaming — all behave exactly as they do at home.
Questions, answered.
Does it cover the UK?
Yes — the United Kingdom is included in the Europe plan. So is Switzerland and Iceland (not EU members). See the full list above.
What about Turkey or Russia?
Turkey is not currently in the Europe plan. Russia is not covered at all. For Turkey, our Global plan handles it.
Will my data slow down when I cross a border?
No. Your phone will automatically connect to the strongest local network in whichever country you’re in. There’s no fair-use throttling on SimKit Europe plans.
Can I tether?
Yes — hotspot/tethering is allowed across the Europe plan. Useful on slow hotel Wi-Fi.
What if I want a longer plan?
30-day plans can be topped up from your account before they expire — the new data stacks on top of what’s left. Or buy a fresh plan if you prefer.
